Great information on children's authors, illustrators, and children's literature
in general.
Coast
Guard Chief Petty Officers Association
The Washington, DC Chapter of the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association
(CPOA) has scheduled authors David Wright and David Zoby (aka "The Davids")
and author Elisa Carbone to speak. The forum would be within the auspices of
the Chapter's Leadership Series. It's interesting to note the forms of leadership
that appear in the Pea Island story. The intent is for today's Coastie to learn
from leadership examples of those who have gone before us.
